17 Jun 2021 The third meeting of National Project Monitoring Committee was held virtually under the Chairmanship of Shri. Ashwini Kumar, Joint Secretary (RFS), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, to discuss Green-Ag project’s progress, impact of COVID-19 on project activities and the project’s Risk Mitigation Strategy. FAO Representative, Mr. Tomio Shichiri welcomed the participants and the Project Director, Mr. Rakesh B Sinha, gave a detailed presentation on the project status. This was followed by brief updates from the Operational Partners in each of the five states where the project is being implemented.
